Icestorm stood up and narrowed her eyes at Mountainfur. She curled back her lips and showed her teeth. Oakkit followed his mom. Mousekit sat there she looked from her mom and brother to Shadowkit and Mountainfur. She walked over and whispered to Shadowkit. "I know what your going to say about that dream..." she trailed off not knowing what to say.

"But I didn't" Shadowkit snapped. Mountainfur bared his own teeth, Shadowkit unsheathed his claws.

Mousekit turned to him. "But you were." Icestorm kept in her position not even flinching at the younger warrior. It she would be killed by him she still did have her other 8 lived to use up for she still was part leader even though she wasn't leader anymore and a RiverClan warrior.

Shadowkit growled and went to pounce on her but Mountainfur stopped him. "Don't waste your strength Shadowkit"

Icestorm's fur was bristling now. She kept her lips back and started snarling. Oakkit just stood there with his fur fluffed out making him look twice his already large size. Mousekit felled back in beside her brother, but she kept her head hung down.

Mountainfur hissed at Icestorm digging his claws into the soft growth under his paws, growling one last time at the Riverclan cats he picked up Shadowkit who sniffled a squeak then turned away from them

Icestorm let her fur lye flat once she noticed they were leaving. "Trying to make you guys in trouble." she spat. She sat down and licked Oakkit's fur down. She noticed Mousekit. "What's wrong, Mousekit?" "It's all my fault." Mousekit meowed. (sounds like Longkit to me) "No it's not dear." Icestorm meowed sympathetically. Mousekit looked at her and nodded, her eyes brightened up again. She started playing with the small moss ball that they had brought.

"I hate them! I hate them!" Shadowkit spat "Its not fair, we get in trouble because she thinks you told me what to say. Fine! I'm a stupid kit, just because I didn't know their fox dung names, I didn't even meet them until today"

Mousekit pricked her ears and turned to the leaving cats. He wasn't even in this why was he mad? Icestorm had heard too, she let out a snort and turned back to her grooming of Oakkit. "He knew me." Mousekit meowed under her breath. "He'll soon get over it anyhow."

Stormstar padded over to Icestorm. "What just happened?" He asked his sister.

Icestorm let out a sigh. "Oh, Stormstar," she meowed. "All I had wanted my kits to do was leave the smaller kit alone and they didn't listen. Then Mountainfur, of all cats, was whispering into the black kit he called Shadowkit's ear what to say. I couldn't believe he did that in front of me so I could punish my kits for no reason. Though, they still are punished for not listening to me." Oakkit and Mousekit both looked down at their paws.

"Kits." Stormstar murmered softly. "Starclan knows when they'll finally listen."

Oakkit looked up at Stormstar. "So we don't have to get a punishment like apprentices?" Mousekit cuffed Oakkit's ear. "Of course not! We're kits not apprentices. It all makes sense." Oakkit looked over at his sister and snorted. Icestorm purred. "Oh they'll soon learn how to listen once they're apprentices."

Flamestorm walked into the clearing. Stormstar instantly stepped forward in front of Icestorm and growled.

Icestorm pricked her ears and looked at the two toms. She wondered what was going on, but Mousekit and Oakkit took it literally. They rushed to Icestorm's side and pressed close to her. "Mom, it that cat bad?" Mousekit meowed, a little shaken. "I don't know." Icestorm admitted. "I don't know."
