"Weird alright." Longkit meows. He pads to the entrance of the den and looks out and sighs. "I hope she'll come back to us." He mutters to himself so Sandkit and Shadowkit couldn't hear him.

Sandkit yawned "I'm tired, want to take turns taking watch?" she purred. Shadowkit rolled his eyes "Go to sleep Sandkit, Longkit is back, mom will be back soon. I hope" he added quietly.

Longkit kept looking out. He wasn't tried and he wouldn't go to sleep till mom came back.

Sandkit fell asleep. Shadowkit padded over to Longkit's side. "I had a dream about mom too, there was great pain, and then I woke up"

"I'm going out." Longkit meows. "I'm going to go find mom." He meows he walks to the back of the cave and slips out.

"Wait!" Shadowkit meowed swatting Sandkit's ear "Come on Sandkit get up!" he hissed. Sandkit opened her eyes.
"What now?" she moaned.
"We're looking for mom" Shadowkit meowed. Sandkit shot up suddenly awake.
"What are we waiting for come on!" she mewed bounding after Longkit, Shadowkit right behind her.

Mountainpaw walked by the nursery and just out of curiosity he stopped by and popped his head in. He found the nest empty, he stepped in and followed the kit scent to the back where there was a small whole, big enough for any kit to escape from. Mountainpaw growled and padded back out of the nursery.
"Owlclaw! Find your kits! I'm tired of doing it!" he yowled

Skykit was in the back of the nursery. He was jealous of them, they had a family and he didn't but he couldn't let hold him down so he rolled his eyes and fell asleep.
